As a photographer & coach, I get asked a lot which free stock image sites I would recommend…so here’s my top 5!
Pexelsis probably my favourite! It’s filled with beautiful, professional images & videos taken by photographers who give permission to use their images for free and all they ask in return, is that you spread the love and credit them.
Canva is the powerhouse for all design projects and totally invaluable! They have a large library of images that are available for you to use for free and they offer a 30-day free trial of their pro membership, which is worth checking out.
You can search Pexels catalogue within the ‘app’ section too! The only thing that annoys me is that there aren’t more ‘portrait’ style videos to choose from.
Unsplash is probably where we head after Pexels. The site is really user-friendly making it easy to find the perfect image.
It’s also integrated with lots of newsletter programs now, such as Flodesk and Mailerlite, making it simple to add professional images to your mailers.
If you have a e-commerce business, then this is probably for you. Burst by Shopify is a stock photo platform aimed specifically at entrepreneurs and e-commerce businesses.
I personally find it a bit clunky but it’s always worth having a look at their Top Free Pics Of The Week, as they can be stunning!
Freepik offers not only stock photos but also vectors, PSD files, and icons. It does have an upgrade to pro which gives you much more but the free version is still great.
I love the left filter bar…it has so many options making it easy to find the right image (they even have an option to exclude Ai generated content!)
I love all these companies. HOWEVER… if you adore images as much as me, investing in a subscription platform that specifically represents your companies branding is INVALUABLE!!!!
I can’t stress this enough. Having consistently branded content is ESSENTIAL to creating Brand Awareness…so if you can….PAY FOR IT! It will up level your business.
